Service

Sewer & Storm Line Cleaning in Austin & Central Texas

High-pressure jetting removes sediment, dirt, grease, roots, concrete residue and construction debris from sanitary sewer and storm drainage systems. Cleaning can be completed before CCTV inspection, as part of preventive maintenance or to restore flow to an obstructed line - often paired with our vacuum trucks so debris is loosened, removed and disposed of in a single mobilization.

Why contractors choose this service

  • Restores full pipe diameter - mechanical snaking only bores a hole
  • Cuts through grease, tree roots, sludge, sediment, concrete residue and mineral scale
  • Combined with vacuum service so material is removed, not left downstream
  • Prepares lines for clear CCTV inspection and NASSCO documentation
  • Preventive maintenance reduces backup risk and municipal call-outs

Common use cases

  • Construction debris and concrete residue removal from newly installed lines
  • Commercial and municipal preventive maintenance programs
  • Recurring grease line blockages in restaurants and food service
  • Root intrusion in older residential and municipal sewer mains
  • Storm drain cleaning after heavy debris events
  • Line prep before CCTV inspection or rehabilitation

On-site workflow

Our process

  1. 01

    Assess the line

We confirm cleanouts, line size, material and blockage type to select the correct pressure and nozzle.

  2. 02

    Jet & vacuum

Our jetter flushes the line while our vac truck removes loosened debris so nothing is left to cause a downstream issue.

  3. 03

    Verify with CCTV

A follow-up camera run confirms the line is clear and documents any underlying pipe damage for the project record.

Line Cleaning FAQ

Frequently asked

Will jetting damage older pipes?

Not when it's operated by a trained crew. Pressure and nozzle selection are matched to the pipe material and condition - clay, cast iron, ductile and PVC lines all get different settings.

How is this different from snaking?

A snake bores a small hole through a blockage. Jetting scours the full inside diameter of the pipe so grease, roots and sediment don't rebuild in weeks - it's a real clean, not a temporary fix.

Do you clean construction debris after installation?

Yes. Post-installation cleaning of newly installed sewer and storm lines is a routine part of getting a new system to acceptance - we clean, then verify with CCTV.

What pressures and flow rates do your jetters run?

Our commercial jetting rigs run the pressure and flow needed to clean mainline sewer and storm - high-flow, high-pressure setups for grease and roots, lower-pressure for fragile older pipe. Nozzles are matched to the blockage: chain flails for roots, warthogs for scale, penetrating for grease.

Do you jet grease traps and restaurant lines?

Yes - recurring restaurant and food-service jetting is one of our steadiest programs. Monthly, quarterly or on-demand schedules keep grease lines flowing between pump-outs and prevent the emergency call at 8 p.m. on a Saturday.

Can jetting clear tree roots long-term?

Jetting with a root-cutter nozzle restores the line immediately. Long-term, roots regrow - an annual jetting schedule keeps the line clear, and a follow-up CCTV inspection tells you whether the pipe itself needs a spot repair or a full replacement.

Do you vacuum out the debris or leave it downstream?

We vacuum. Jetting without a vac truck just moves the blockage down the line where it re-forms in a manhole or a lift station. Our crews jet and vac on the same mobilization so the debris actually leaves the system.

How much does sewer or storm jetting cost?

Priced by footage, line diameter, blockage severity and material to remove. Bundled pricing is available when jetting is paired with pre- and post-CCTV inspection. Send access details and we'll quote it firm.
